As a licensed physical therapist, I treat the body as a connected, holistic system—recognizing that pain or dysfunction in one area often stems from deeper imbalances throughout the body. My approach goes beyond treating symptoms at the site of injury; I combine advanced myofascial techniques with osteopathic joint mobilizations to restore mobility, alignment, and balance. I also incorporate corrective therapeutic exercises designed to retrain movement patterns, improve stability, and address the root causes of dysfunction. By integrating hands-on techniques with intentional movement, I help clients achieve lasting results, improved performance, and a deeper connection to their bodies.
Dr. Lichterman earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Nebraska and went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004. With a deep foundation in movement science and a passion for whole-body wellness, Dr. Lichterman brings a thoughtful, integrated approach to physical therapy that goes far beyond treating symptoms.
His work is informed by a distinguished athletic career as a collegiate All-American gymnast and international competitor for his native South Africa. Over the years, he has cared for athletes from UCLA, the University of Iowa, and the University of Nebraska, as well as high-level gymnasts across Los Angeles. He is also trusted by film and television stunt performers, treating professionals from productions such as The Mandalorian, Hawaii Five-0, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, and more.
Dr. Lichterman is dedicated to helping clients move with greater ease, strength, and confidence—restoring not just physical function, but balance and vitality throughout the body.
